About Us
The Inbhear Mór Performance Ensemble (formerly Inbhear Mór Marchers) is a non profit, voluntary organisation providing an educational and social outlet for young people in the South Wicklow area. Our experienced team of instructors offer full tuition in all diciplines of "Music on the Move" with structured classes in brass, percussion, colourguard & marching. We also offer music classes for young beginners to kick start their music education before entering the band. Full tuition, instruments & equipment are all provided for a minimal weekly fee.
The Inbhear Mór Performance Ensemble is a year round activity. From October to March the band rehearses indoors, working on performance techniques and preparing music for the winter & summer programs. Throughout the winter months the band participates in indoor competitions and performs a variety of winter concerts. From April to September each year the band moves outdoors to put together their fully choreographed field show for the summer competition season. The band produces a brand new themed show each season to showcase at national & international competitions.
Apart from the competitive season, the band provides showcase entertainment all year round at many national & international festivals and parades including various performances in Ireland, The UK, France, The Netherlands and North America.
